We scope social and environmental impacts across the supply chains of soy, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, and emerging commodities such as bush mango in Brazil, China, Cameroon, Tanzania, and Indonesia. Our work informs both global and national policy landscapes, spanning from contributions to the targets and indicators of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and guidance on UK and EU deforestation free legislation, to other national policy recommendations on how to support the wellbeing of smallholder farmers and sustainable production.
Our work supporting smallholders includes contributions from our teams in Tanzania to policy recommendations, especially on supporting export diversification, value addition of commodities and ways to empower coffee and soybean smallholders"
We also work on providing and mapping tools to enable companies and investors to trace their supply chains and make sustainable choices.
